The WCBT season kicked off in Medicine Hat with the Spring River Beef Bowl’s debut on tour, and it did not disappoint. With a sizzling 2169 cut, the top 32 battled hard, highlighted by strong showings from women and youth competitors, and Ontario’s Jeff Watts making waves with a deep run. In the end, it was Greg Gigliuk who claimed the title, going back-to-back after his Heritage Tradition victory—a rare accomplishment in WCBT history.
