Latest Western Canadian Bowling Tour News

The fourth stop on the WCBT Tour, the Manitoba Open, brought together a strong field of 142 entries, setting the stage for a highly competitive weekend of 5 pin bowling. From the opening block, scoring was sharp and the intensity never let up as players battled for position and valuable Tour points.

Leading the way in qualifying was Geoff Born, who set the pace with an impressive 2507 to claim the top spot heading into match play. With the cut lines tight and every frame crucial, the road to the finals demanded consistency, composure, and timely shot-making.

After navigating the pressure-filled elimination rounds, the championship match featured Brad Moens taking on Bailey Lawson in a marquee showdown. In the end, it was Moens who rose to the occasion, delivering when it mattered most to secure the Manitoba Open title, while Lawson earned a strong runner-up finish. Another exciting chapter in the WCBT season is now complete as the race toward the Tour Finals continues to heat up.
