Latest Western Canadian Bowling Tour News

The 2026 Beef Bowl at Panorama Lanes in Medicine Hat was another outstanding event on the Western Canadian Bowling Tour, attracting a record 277 entries and paying out more than $76,000. Bowlers travelled from across Canada to compete in one of the country’s premier five-pin tournaments, creating an incredible weekend of competition, camaraderie and growth for the sport. The event also showcased the next generation of bowlers competing alongside some of the best players in the country.

Congratulations to 2026 Beef Bowl Champion Tyler Tytgat, who completed an incredible comeback after being culled at last year’s event before winning the Cull Cow Cup. Taylor McCaw finished runner-up after an impressive run through the A-side.  We seen an impressive showing by the ladies in this open event with 5 of our 32 competitors. The WCBT would like to congratulate all competitors and extend a huge thank you to the Beef Bowl committee, Panorama Lanes staff, volunteers and everyone who travelled to Medicine Hat for making the 2026 Beef Bowl a tremendous success.
